Custom Retail was founded in 2007 to provide a true partnership experience for our customers. Our Owners and Associates have over 100 years of combined experience in the retail, commercial and residential fixture manufacturing industry. Our company began operation with two Associates and has now grown to fifteen.
We have 50,000 square foot of wood manufacturing, shipping and warehousing capacity in Shreveport LA dedicated to accommodate any of our customers fixture needs. We are loyal to the Green Initiative and very concerned about our environment, we recycle cardboard, plastic and aluminum to do our part in saving our Earth. No job is too small or too large and we are fully licensed and insured.
We strive to bring you the best in quality and service at the most competitive prices. We pride ourselves in on time delivery, our customers are our number one priority. If something isn't right, we will “make” it right. Our Motto Is “Whatever It Takes”

John Smith- President, CEO/CFO
Mr. Smith founded Custom Retail in 2007 after serving in the retail store fixture industry for over 17 years, most recently as Executive Vice President with J Haws & Associates in Shreveport Louisiana managing the company’s business operations, custom store fixture importing and domestic wood manufacturing facility. Mr. Smith holds a coveted BS Degree in Finance and Accounting from Louisiana State University and is married with two children. Mr. Smith is a native of New Orleans LA. |

Tommy Gowan - Executive VP - Manufacturing
Mr. Gowan joined the Company in 2007 to start the custom millwork shop. He has over 15 years experience in the store fixture industry, derived from JH&A Store Fixtures, and multiple years of experience in the custom cabinet manufacturing industry. During his time with JH&A Fixtures, he operated as Plant Manager. Mr. Gowan is an avid hunter and is happily married. |

Byron LeJeune- VP Sales and Marketing
Mr. LeJeune joined the Company with over 25 years experience in the multi-unit retail and multi-unit construction field. Prior to joining Custom Retail Mr. LeJeune served as Vice President for Campus Crest Communities, in Charlotte NC, building multi-unit residential projects, Vice President for Fred’s Stores Inc. in Memphis, managing construction, store development and purchasing . Also, with Family Dollar Stores, Charlotte NC, managing the opening and purchasing for new stores. Mr. LeJeune is married with four children and four grandchildren. Mr. LeJeune is a native of Columbus GA. |

Brandon Smith- Plant Manager - Manufacturing
Mr. Smith is an original Associate of the Company, he joined Custom Retail upon its founding by John Smith (no relation) in 2007 with 15 years of experience in the retail store fixture industry. Bringing his experience to Custom Retail, Mr. Smith was previously Assistant Plant Manager of manufacturing with J.Haws & Associates from 1995 until he Joined Custom Retail in 2007. Mr. Smith holds an AS Degree in Criminal Justice and is currently pursuing a BS in IT with a focus on software engineering. Mr. Smith is married with one child. |
